Our Commitment to Recycling

Western has always challenged the rest of the law review printers to follow our example of integrity, excellence and service. We have remained among the leaders in the graphic arts industry by offering only those products that meet our strict standards for appearance, quality and economy. Today, all of Western's printing jobs are printed on the highest quality recycled text stock available. Our text stock is acid free with the neutral pH level for prolonged shelf life without page yellowing. In addition, we used recycled cover stock on approximately 95% of the publications that we produce.

Our commitment to recycling goes far beyond simply using recycled paper stock for our publications. We have incorporated recycling into all areas of our production. From the smaller efforts, such as using recycled FAX paper, to the more significant procedures including installing silver recovery systems on our film processing equipment, Western continues to be a leader in recycling in the printing market.

The Truth About America's Forests.

Today America has over 20% more trees it had just twenty years ago. And the numbers are growing daily, with trees being replenished faster than they are harvested in every region of the country. Thanks, in part, to private landowners and America's forest products companies, who plant over 6 Million trees a day, reseed entire forests, and use other forest management techniques to promote natural regrowth. We're determined to keep up with the growing demand for wood and paper products. And to make sure our forests are a continuing source of joy for every American.
